<description>I usually don&#039;t give out my email because of the problems that can happen through the transfer of smtp, but I have to THANK YOU for your efforts to help all of us light weights in the Linux/Ubuntu world. Thank You! I have changed an old Pentium III 450 mhz Fedora server to Ubuntu because Ubuntu seems to be a more accepted Distribution. Also, once I conquer something I go to the next challenge instead of staying with the status quo (good trait --bad trait???). Ubuntu throw me back a little because server 6.06 installs only the basic system needs. Later server versions (ie 6.062, 7.10, 8.10 and 10.10) cause errors on install probably because of outdated linux drivers. I probably need to update to 1.2 mhz motherboard, but can&#039;t afford it right now. Anyway, I have had to study to figure out how to install X11, Window Terminal, Apache, Samba, PHP and Mysql. I even have had frustration figuring out the Debian Package Manager system. I have not been able to find the basic help I need until I merely by accident came across your JoyOfProgramming web pages. Thank you, you have given me the needed basic understanding into the unbuntu server system: dbpkg; state of the package, how to install, how to get documentation, howto: apache, samba, php and MySql and etc.</description>
